Our Back to School Letter to Self lesson resource is designed to help students reflect on their personal and academic goals and write a letter to their future selves to be opened at the end of the school year.

🎯 Objective:
Students will:
Reflect on their personal and academic goals for the upcoming school year.
Write a letter to their future selves to be opened at the end of the school year.
Create a checklist of goals and anticipated activities to review at the end of the year.

🚀 Activity Instructions:
Introduction (5 minutes):
Explain the concept of writing a letter to oneself.
Discuss the letter components: goals, memories, activities.
Brainstorming (5 minutes):
Students brainstorm goals and activities for the school year.
Writing the Letter (25 minutes):
Students write their letters using templates and prompts.
Addressing the Envelopes (5 minutes):
Teach students to properly address envelopes.
Collect and Store (5 minutes):
Collect addressed envelopes to be returned at the end of the year.Inform students that these letters will be returned to them at the end of the school year.
